But in 2019, they realized a growing need for trusted, local Medicare guidance in their community.

So many seniors felt lost, frustrated, and unsure about which Medicare plan was best for them.

The insurance industry often felt impersonal, with big call centers and endless fine print.

Kelley and Shelly saw an opportunity to do things differently—by offering personalized, one-on-one guidance to people who deserved clear answers and reliable support.

Hi, I’m Kelley Byrd, and I’ve spent my career helping people find solutions that work for them. My background is a little unique—I started in the golf industry, where I spent over 30 years as a Class A PGA professional.

But in 2019, I found my true calling: helping Oklahoma seniors understand and maximize their Medicare benefits.

After transitioning into the insurance world, I quickly realized how overwhelming Medicare can be for many people.

My goal is to make the process simple, explain your options clearly, and ensure you get the best coverage possible—

without paying more than you need to.

Hello, I’m Shelly. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and my journey started long ago when I became a Counselor at McAlester Kiamichi Technology Center in 2006.

Every day, I had the privilege of guiding students to jumpstart their careers, and it was incredibly rewarding.

In 2020, while watching my husband embark on his second career in insurance, I discovered a new calling—helping people navigate Medicare and plan for a secure retirement.

I realized that by assisting with Social Security, Medicare, Life Insurance, and Annuities, I could truly make a difference in people’s lives.

Best of all, my services are provided at no cost to you, because I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to make informed decisions about their future.

With my planned retirement from the Technology Center in 2027, I’m excited to dedicate even more time to supporting you through your retirement planning journey.

In 2024, Kelley and I founded Byrds Eye View Insurance LLC, uniting our shared passion for service.
